Tablet War hots up, Blackberry to launch playbook this month

New Delhi: After the mobile phones, in India the competition is hotting up for “tablets”. with BlackBerry-maker Research in Motion (RIM) is set to launch its PlayBook in the country later this month to face the likes of Apple's iPad and Samsung's Galaxy Tab.
                                                               
The Canadian firm will launch in Indian markets and some other countries this month.
Totally it’s going to be launched in 16 countries says the company website, including the UK, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Australia, UAE and India. They said the price id going to be competitive with other products and global in line.

The price in India depends upon the storage capacity from 16 GB to 64 GB and range between Rs 22,000 and Rs 32,000.
                                                                                                         
In markets the BlackBerry tablet had received a mixed response when it’s launched.
It was sold just 50,000 copies in the first week when it’s launched on April 19 in US and Canada.

On PlayBook, users can go online only by using a Wi-Fi network or by synchronizing the device to their BlackBerry smartphones.
